How to seduce someone online

While you may instantly want to rip one another’s clothes off in person, seduction is a whole other ballgame when it’s done in a virtual fashion. Although you may want to get straight into the good dirty stuff straight away, just hold your horses for a short while. Save the kinky talk for later in the evening; right now we’re going for downright flirty and sexy. Your job is to get your other half in the mood by gentle teasing and subtle innuendo. Hold off until the tension builds, it’ll be worth it. So, how do you go about seducing someone online?

1. Let them know they’re on your mind

Sometimes just knowing that someone is thinking about you, will get that internal fire started. If you want someone to start thinking about you and be turned on, it’ll help them to know that you’re in the same mood and thinking about them yourself. So don’t be afraid to let them know. It could be as basic as “last night was amazing” or “I can’t stop thinking about you”. Simple, yet so effective.

2. Ask an opinion

This one works great if you’ve just bought a new outfit or sexy lingerie, or even if you’re thinking about it (the imagination has a lot to answer for). If they ask what your weekend plans are, respond with a “I was thinking about buying a new dress/some new lingerie, what do you think will suit me?” They’ll have a hard time thinking about you in any other way. If you want to go a step further, send a pic. We’re not talking about a full on nude shot, but maybe a bra strap on a shoulder, or a patch of lace against your thigh along with a “what do you think?” Leave as much as possible to the imagination, and give them just enough to get a sweat on.

3. Always be subtle

While you may be desperate to say something to them, a key part of any seduction is to never be straight forward. Never say what you want directly, at least at first. Although making out (or something more) may be the one thing on your mind, you want them to have the idea first. Again, it’s all about imagination.

4. Play a game

Suggest a game of Truth or Dare - everyone’s high school favourite - or perhaps ask one another a question with the promise of giving a truthful answer. Try to subtly bring the topics back to the bedroom. Keep their mind racing as much as possible, and find out some sexy facts about one another while you’re at it.

5. Talk about fantasies

It’s always easier to be honest when there’s a little anonymity involved. So you may find it easier to admit to secret desires and fantasies through a text message. Ask them what really turns them on, especially if it’s something they’ve never explored before. Then start to role play and dig into that desire. You’ll leave them clutching their phone and desperately wanting more.

6. Go for shock factor

I know we said to be subtle, but there’s also something to be said about being direct and honest. Keeping things straight can be an incredible turn on and will cause many people to go immediately weak at the knees. Try “I’m not wearing any underwear right now.” Trust us, it’ll make quite the impact.

7. The shower trick

Speaking of being direct, there’s one text that’s almost guaranteed to work every time. Try sending “Just got home after a long hard day, going to jump in the shower”. Need we say more? The shower trick works every time.

8. Make them want you so bad

Enjoying your alone time? Masturbation is something we all get the urge to do - and did you know it’s good for your mental health? - so why not hit two birds with one stone, so to speak? Next time you’re in the heat of the moment, let them know how badly you want them. “Did you know I’m typing this with one hand because my other hand is busy?” They’ll know what’s going on and that they’re on your mind. It’s the ultimate seduction.
